Browser privacy signals

Amici Brentwood honors Global Privacy Control (GPC). If your browser sends a GPC signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information and of targeted advertising. Because there is no common standard for “Do Not Track” signals, we rely on GPC and the choices you make in “Your Privacy Choices.”

How we share your information

Amici Brentwood does not sell your personal information or rent customer lists. We share it only as described below.

WhoWhy
Service providersWebsite hosting, email delivery, analytics, payment, IT support and shipping. They may use it only to work for us.
Advertising partners (ConvertBox)Only if you accept advertising cookies, to measure and show our ads. Under some state laws this counts as “sharing” for targeted advertising; you can opt out at any time.

Business transfersIf we merge with or sell all or part of our business, as part of that transaction

Sale, sharing and targeted advertising

With your permission, Amici Brentwood uses advertising partners (such as Google and Meta) to measure ads and show relevant ads on other websites. Under some US state laws this may be considered “selling” or “sharing” personal information or “targeted advertising.” You can opt out at any time with the “Your Privacy Choices” link on our website or by turning on Global Privacy Control in your browser.

We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16.

Maps and videos

Some pages on the Amici Brentwood website can show maps provided by Google Maps (Google LLC). A map loads only when you choose to load it or accept all cookies. When it loads, your browser connects to Google, which receives your IP address and may receive the location, address or search terms the map displays, and may set cookies. Google uses this information under its own privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy

Reservations and online orders

When you book a table or order online, Amici Brentwood uses a reservation or ordering service (such as Resy, OpenTable, Tock or Toast) to take your booking. Your name, phone number, email, party size, date and any notes you add go to that service and to us so we can hold your table and contact you about it. Each service handles your information under its own privacy policy.

Allergies and dietary needs

If you tell Amici Brentwood about an allergy or dietary need, we use it only to prepare your meal safely and serve you. We don’t use it for marketing, we don’t sell or share it, and we keep it only as long as we need it for your visit.

Loyalty, rewards and gift cards

If Amici Brentwood offers a loyalty, rewards or gift card program, joining is optional. We collect your name, contact details and visit or purchase history to give you points, rewards or balances; we estimate the value of that information to be equal to the rewards we provide. You can leave the program at any time by contacting info@amicibrentwood.com. This is our Notice of Financial Incentive under California law.

Emails and text messages

Amici Brentwood sends marketing emails and text messages only if you sign up for them. Message and data rates may apply. You can unsubscribe from emails with the link in any message, and stop texts by replying STOP. Reservation confirmations and reminders are sent even if you don’t sign up for marketing.

How long we keep it and how we protect it

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes above:

  • Questions and requests: up to 3 years after our last contact
  • Customer and transaction records: as long as tax, accounting and warranty laws require
  • Email lists: until you unsubscribe
  • Analytics data: up to 14 months

The site uses encryption (HTTPS) for everything sent to and from it, and we limit access to people and providers who need it. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you have these rights:

  • Right to know and access the personal information we hold about you, and get a copy
  • Right to correct information that is wrong
  • Right to delete your information, subject to legal exceptions (such as tax, warranty or security records)
  • Right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your information, targeted advertising and profiling (use Your Privacy ChoicesCalifornia Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) Opt-Out Icon or a GPC signal)
  • Right to limit the use of sensitive information

Residents of states and countries with privacy laws have these rights under their law, and we offer them to everyone. We will not treat you differently for using them.

Opting out of sale, sharing and targeted ads

A Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal works the same way. To opt out everywhere we know you, including email and offline records, use our contact form and start your message with “Do not sell or share.” We don’t need to verify your identity for an opt-out, and we act on it within 15 business days. We will not treat you differently for opting out.

How to make a request

Use our contact form and start your message with “Privacy request,” or email info@amicibrentwood.com. We will confirm we received it within 10 business days and respond within 45 days. To protect you, we verify your identity by matching details you give us with our records. An authorized agent may make a request for you with your signed permission.

Appeals

If we decline your request, you can appeal by replying to our decision with “Appeal” in the subject within 45 days. We will answer within 60 days and explain the outcome. If you are not satisfied, you may contact the California Attorney General.

Children

Our website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has sent us information, use our contact form and we will delete it.
